The Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit tender bids for the provision of comprehensive services covering the annual safety inspection, routine maintenance, and repair of physical education and outdoor play equipment across all Glasgow City Council education establishments and community gym facilities.
The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, gymnasiums, playgrounds, soft play areas, games halls, sports halls, Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), and fitness suites. The appointed contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards, compliant with relevant regulations, and fit for continued use.
The Council intends to appoint a single supplier to deliver all aspects of this contract, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and accountability in service delivery across all sites.
This opportunity will be structured as a Framework Agreement with an anticipated duration of four (4) years, during which the successful contractor will provide ongoing inspection, maintenance, and responsive repair services as required.
