Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council invites tenders for the provision of window cleaning services across its portfolio of council-owned and managed buildings within the Borough of Redcar and Cleveland. The estate includes civic offices, libraries, leisure centres, community hubs, and operational depots.
The contract covers external and internal window cleaning at scheduled frequencies, high-level and specialist glazing using appropriate access equipment, window frame and sill cleaning, and reactive or emergency cleans completed within 48 hours of instruction.
The appointed contractor will be required to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005, hold a current SSIP-accredited health and safety certification, and ensure all operatives assigned to buildings occupied by vulnerable adults or children hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.
