Tender Sourcing for Cleaning and Healthcare Providers

Find the right contracts early, and spend your time only on the ones you can win.

Most bids are lost before anyone starts writing

Many providers find out about a good tender with a week to go, or spend weeks on one they were never likely to win. Tender sourcing fixes both problems. We monitor public sector opportunities every day, match them to what you deliver and where you work, and tell you which ones are worth pursuing.

Because the same team that writes bids also shortlists them, our recommendations reflect what it actually takes to score well, not just whether a tender looks interesting.

How it works

Tell us what you deliver. A short call to cover your services, regions, size, accreditations and the contracts you want.

We build your search profile. We turn that into search criteria and set up your alerts.

Matched opportunities arrive. You receive alerts and, for shortlisted tenders, a short summary.

You decide with the facts in front of you. We give a bid/no-bid recommendation you can act on.

Move into writing if you choose. If you decide to bid, we can pick it up straight away through Tender Writing or Bid Management.

Is this tender worth bidding for?

A bid/no-bid decision should be made before any writing starts. We assess each opportunity against six questions:

Eligibility: Do you meet the minimum turnover, insurance, accreditation and registration requirements?

Fit: Does the contract match what you actually deliver, in the right location and at the right scale?

Weighting: How are price and quality scored, and does that play to your strengths?

Incumbent and TUPE: Is there an incumbent supplier, and will staff transfer?

Timescales: Is there enough time to produce a strong submission and, if you win, to mobilise?

Capacity: Can you resource the contract without stretching your existing services?

If the answer to several of these is no, the most useful advice is not to bid. If the answers are good, you go in knowing why.

Cleaning tender opportunities

Cleaning tenders come from a wide range of buyers. We track opportunities across schools, academy trusts, colleges, councils, housing providers, NHS and healthcare settings, and commercial and public buildings. That includes specialist work such as ductwork, kitchen deep cleaning, window cleaning and gutter cleaning.

Before you commit, we check what matters most to cleaning contractors: whether TUPE applies, the site visit and clarification dates, the mobilisation window, the price/quality split and any accreditation thresholds. See our cleaning tender support.

Healthcare tender opportunities

Healthcare and care commissioning follows its own routes. We look for contracts in domiciliary and home care, nursing and residential homes, supported living, extra care and assisted living and children’s services, including frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems that open to new providers.

For each one we check what the buyer requires: CQC or Ofsted registration, the local authority areas covered, whether the route is a framework, a DPS or a one-off tender, how rates are set, and how quickly you would need to be ready. NHS-commissioned health services can follow different procurement rules from adult social care, so we confirm the route before you invest time.
